Had breakfast again today on the last day before the lockdown. Everything worked very well, the staff was very nice. Breakfast was delicious and I would always recommend the café to others.
I've been there 3 times now, with an interval of a few months each time. Last on October 31, 2020. The cake was delicious, the rum ball was hard. Service friendly. However, and it always did, it seemed very disorganized. Long waiting time for service and ordered food. I could also observe that the counter force still had to join the kitchen. It was slowly getting full and it was wonderful to watch the disaster unfold. Guests came in because they weren't served and the total of two employees sank into receipts and orders and simply couldn't keep up. Outside the dishes were piled on the tables and they tried to entertain the people. Well, basically a cozy and nice shop, but because of this understaffing and the lack of separation of duties among staff, everything is lost. Really a shame and therefore well-intentioned 3 stars only.
Yesterday I had called and reserved a table for 11:15 a.m. and this morning at 11:15 a.m. my friends and I were standing in front of closed doors. After 15 minutes and a few calls there was still no one in the store. Unfortunately we had to go somewhere else but on the way back the shop was open when we went in and asked what that was supposed to be said by the staff member they didn't open until 1:00 p.m. We felt pretty fooled because the opening times on the internet were exactly the same as at the door.
Very charming café, with good cake and delicious coffee. Unfortunately, there is hardly any choice for lactose-free cakes - this could still be included in the future.
Even if, apart from any influence on taste, semantically upgraded with the adjective “Naschwerk-”, the price of 4.50 euros for a piece of cheesecake is a little strange to me with the local name “Glücksmomente”. Note: Noun non est omen.
Very slow service and that at 50% occupancy. Hot chocolate should rather be described as "lukewarm". Not recommended.
The cakes are delicious. The tea tasted good.
Great cakes and pies all homemade, very tasty
It is a sweet no cafe or restaurant. The coffee and atmosphere were good. However, I didn't like the fact that we had to ask for milk and sugar.
Nice ambience, but unfortunately absolutely unmotivated service. We found just under 3 € for a 0.2l Fritz drink quite expensive.
Nice cafe. Nice people. Enjoy!
A great café with a very personable owner. Mega cake and food selection and everything made with a lot of love. The coffee is unbeatable and always worth a visit.
A lovely little and cozy cafe with delicious food and drinks. Prices are ok. The cake and the soup of the day are great! We will be back!
A nice little cafe, delicious cake. To recommend today: Milanese apple pie, some cinnamon, marzipan and Amarena cherry round off the apple / cheese cream cake. Beautiful dishes are particularly pleasing.
A nice little café in the middle of the old town of Hanover. Nice service, good service, tasty drinks, tasty little things or more. We were very satisfied and will definitely be back.
Great pies, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Bring some time. Let's go and enjoy!
Nice service good café ! The manager is not able to process a credit card payment and cannot indicate where is the closest ATM ! The waitress was fast and polite !
Good coffee
cafe looks nice but coffee tastes a little bit not good. but ok.
Cute café, can get crowded on the weekends but quite relaxing and calm during the week, friendly staff, even got me a coffee half an hour before opening hours - can recommend!
A great cafe. Here you should go once.
Cozy furnished and nice concept. But far too long waiting times. We waited 20 minutes for an operation, order at the counter was not possible, then another 20 minutes waited until the frappe was brought. And that at half full places. The frappe itself was unfortunately not good too much ice pieces.
Great service, great coffee and delicious food! Perfectly. Oh and thanks for the photo ?
Philippa ??
Just a lucky coincidence to come over here before I had to go - to rumkugeln ?
Beautiful cafè in Hannover city centre. Really enjoyed my tea. Very good pastries too
On Easter Monday we had a brunch with the family (15 people). Everyone was very satisfied. The staff is accommodating and fulfills every wish. All in all, we had a great brunch for 15 euros per person. Many Thanks!
The place is really cute, but the staff really needs to be improved. It was not that full, for a Sunday and I still had to wait about 20 Minutes to go get the menu myself. Got forgotten, asked for the bill, that took about another 20 minutes. I ended up walking to the cashier, again, myself. The coffee/menu is also not very spectacular. It was really time/patience consuming for very little return. Meh. Not worthy of a second try.
